Coaching at HHS has been one of my greatest achievements. With that said, I have decided to step away from coaching. Present and past players “Thank you”. It has been my pleasure. Im excited to see the future of this program. Thanks so much! @HHSHawksAD @tgsports @metrowestdaily

The MSHCA mourns the loss of longtime association member & fmr. longtime Belmont HS coach, James “Skip” Viglirolo. He was recognized for his contributions to hockey in MA & Belmont w/ his name adorning the old Belmont rink. Our thoughts & prayers go out to his family & friends.

Another legend of the game is hanging up the whistle. Congrats Coach Findley on a long & successful career. Enjoy the rest, but we are sure will still find you in the cold local ice rinks on the South Shore from time to time.
After 35 years of coaching, Notre Dame Academy of Hingham girls hockey head coach John Findley is retiring. A legend who positively impacted so many over the years, always had his teams primed for contention, and was a true pleasure to work with. Congrats on a heckuva career.
