An 11 , 12 year old girl’s memory -coming from town after a day outside coronation market with mom selling sweet sops,callaloo and pumpkins. Now I’m sitting in the Mail bus- thats the name if the bus- the conductor “Longers” kotching seat by seat collecting fares.

I learned so much from these amazing public servants who took care of me and guided me in how to center poor and often marginalized people…. THANK YOU SO MUCH SDC for giving this 18 year old who quit college only to find a life long love for public service💕.

Mad like Shad. Jamaica banks have to do something about wait time I’ve been in the bank in from.1:00 PM & I’m just leaving 4:00 PM. People upset and cussing Ah mean yuh siddung eena did bank ah wait fi yuh numba call and yuh wait til the cow come home. Do better Jamaica banks 🇯🇲.

Giving Tuesday!. Last week on behalf of I donated J$240,000 to two schools in Jamaica to feed hungry kids. We are gearing up to donate yet another US$5000 to schools in Providence and Johnston to begin the new school year !
