Can consider ourselves extremely lucky to be level here. Lincoln flown out the traps, while we’ve hobbled unhurriedly, unable to complete a string of passes or settle into any sort of rhythm. The huge positive is we’re in this game, but our level must increase tenfold. #htafc

Lincoln game on NYD is such an opportunity to lay down a marker. Imps formidable at home in the league (W8, D2, L1), but we MUST start picking up points against teams around us if we’re serious about getting out of this division. Time to make the stride forwards. #htafc

Workmanlike performance. Not pretty, had to win ugly and did so, so credit for that. Northampton tried their best to make it bitty, but Town showed enough today. Two poor teams put to the sword this week. I want to see a statement of intent on Thursday down at Lincoln. #htafc

I genuinely think Chelsea would be silly to recall him. Why halt his progress when he’s flourishing? Stoke did it with Nathan Lowe last season and halted his progress. If Chelsea are sensible, see out this season at Town and give him a Championship loan next season. #htafc
He’s getting recalled isn’t he? #htafc

With Christmas boxed off, it’s back to the reality of Huddersfield Town this aft. Couldn’t muster the enthusiasm to turn up against Wigan, but can’t imagine a Boxing Day without football, however poor it’s been. Anything less than a win today is, simply, unacceptable. #htafc

Can’t stress how pleased about Bojan’s upturn in fortunes since that Stockport home game. 5 goals, 3 assists and performances everyone can get behind. Unselfish, brings others into play brilliantly and has been duly rewarded in goal contributions. All hail the King! 👑 #htafc

Aside from finally getting Bojan and May playing together, there’s very little to like about that. 5 at the back again, despite its visible flaws in the past two outings. At this point, there’s no doubt Taylor’s had it out with Grant and is now paying the price. #htafc

Is this what Nagle was on about when he spoke about Grant being “data driven”? What does data driven even mean? I don’t give a toss about zones, xG’s or any other fantasy guff. I’m interested in seeing the team compete and succeed — something we aren’t under this man. #htafc

I forgot the Luton and Wimbledon games. Should’ve gone after Bolton. Should’ve gone after Wycombe. Should’ve gone after Luton. Should’ve gone after Wimbledon. Has to go now. #htafc
He should’ve gone after Bolton. He definitely should’ve gone after Wycombe. There is absolutely no excuse to keep him as Manager of this club after tonight. Two league wins since September. Out. #htafc

Sacking Duff was never the answer. Said it at the time and maintain that now. Nobody can say for certain, but I genuinely believe we’d be better off now, than we currently are, with Michael Duff still at the helm. #htafc

Town under Lee Grant have now spent two months out of the League One play-offs, which is already longer than the whole of Michael Duff's tenure. It's also the longest period the club have spent out of the League One play-offs since the end of the 2008-09 season.

I meant it then and I mean it now. Pull the trigger, @KevinNagleMLS. #htafc

We’ve scored 6 goals in the last 3 league games alone. More than enough to win each game, and with a degree of comfort. In contrast, we’ve conceded 8 goals in same 3 league games, which isn’t acceptable for any team serious about getting promotion from any division. #htafc

I like this, to be fair. Nicholls back. Interested to see how Low/Balker works. Bojan and Dion still deserving of their places for me. Feeney presumably rested. Only question I have is complete omission of Gooch? Hopefully rested too and not injured. #htafc
