#EveryLittleHelps | Last night officers from our #Eteam were flagged down by an elderly gentleman stood at his door trying to catch the attention of passing cars 👋🏻🚗. It transpired he lived alone and his TV had stopped working, with officers only too happy to oblige 📺👮♂️.

In Jun-Nov 17 we had 2715 moped enabled theft snatches in #Islington. Since then, largely due to brave officers pursuing & knocking these brazen offenders off their stolen mopeds, we had 397 offences in the same period 2018. That is a reduction of 83%!. Thanks to all involved.

(2/2) The arrested man will appear in court charged with possession of a knife in a public place. He had been circulated as wanted on recall to prison where the index offence was grievous bodily harm. The IOPC has advised that they will be conducting an independent investigation.

We arrested 3 men following a report of a man with a firearm in Holloway on 10 March. Rapid enquiries linked the man and 2 others to an address near London where we found 4 imitation firearms, 24 knives + large quantities of drugs. The 3 appeared in court charged with 31 offences.

A male was robbed at knife point in the EC1R #Islington area yesterday. Officers located all three suspects as well as a knife and the victim’s stolen property. The property has since been returned to the victim. All three suspects were arrested and taken into police custody.

A large brown and gold reticulated python 🐍 has been releassssssed without charge after being found unexpectedly in a home in #Islington. The snake was coiled around the boiler. Police escorted the python to a local station and was later collected by @RSPCA_official.
