Today we remember PC Keith Blakelock who was killed on duty this day in 1985. We conducted a short service at the memorial in Muswell Hill where he served attended by DAC Taylor, Det Ch Supt Haines and many colleagues past and present Never forgotten.

PC Woodward apprehended a burglar tackling him to the ground following a foot chase. The burglar tried to fight with the officer in an attempt to escape. He was arrested, charged & imprisoned. PC Woodward was able to return the owner’s jewellery that was taken. #PositiveNewsStory

At 11:32hrs today officers stopped a vehicle in White Hart Lane, #Tottenham. The suspect vehicle stopped for police, but then drove off at speed striking an officer. The officer has been taken to hospital. We await an update on his condition. No arrests. Enquiries continue.
