I love my local. I'm lucky enough to have a choice of 2, depending on what night it is. Its where I can sit & listen to fishermen talk about tide times, or farmers yap about their yield. Its the heart of our community. Both places have a soul. The British pub is a great thing!.

How can you care for anyone if you can't communicate with them? Especially vulnerable people like those with dementia. This happened in the UK 20 yrs ago when the UK had an influx of eastern European "carers" who spoke no English.

I love bacon. I had a delicious bacon sandwich for lunch. The bacon was from our local butcher, a specialist pork butcher. Tomorrow, we're having pork belly, & a hog roast on Saturday! Crackling!.Put British pork on your fork!😋🇬🇧
