My short story, "The Internet of Things That Care," is in the new issue of Shoreline of Infinity @shoreinf - digital and print! It's nice to write, and read, a story where tech is on our side. https://t.co/MvPtfrAZgr

I've got a story in this issue - as well as an illustration! It's been a tough year creatively so this fills me with joy.
Pre-order the Winter 2022 issue of @shoreinf via the link - what a cracker! (great stocking filler, too, you know!) https://t.co/Sm2R8Va2RH

Mirrorshades are an infosec hazard on video calls:
rockpapershotgun.com
When people can see your screen reflected in your mirrorshades during video calls, is cyberpunk's iconic eyewear too unsafe in the modern age?

I rode MUNI (bus) for the first time in years today. Aside from fearing for my health, I was in total bliss. Eavesdropping on two young women behind me talking about how a 23 yo should never date a 21 yo – too young! Backpacks in my face, stinky people – all fodder for fiction.

Well, I won this round but he warned I may get held up by the proofreaders. He reiterated, at length, about how very wrong this is. 😂

Hey author friends - help! I sold a story and am struggling with an editor over using the term "8k" to refer to TV screen resolution. It's in dialog. He want it to be eight-k which seems 100% wrong to me, but I need a source to back me up.
