I will be retiring at the end of March after 35 great years serving Canadians. I am spending the morning with lots of coffee filling out 23 forms ON PAPER that need to be MAILED in. If I was not retiring, I would want the job of digitally transforming the retirement process!!!

Julie Leese leads the Digital Services and Transformation Office here at Transport Canada as our first-ever Chief Data Officer. Julie and her team have worked on Robotics projects that allow them to automate resource-intensive processes with the use of Bots 🤖

Personal news: After 35 years on or around Parliament Hill, I am retiring as of the end of December. The most capable @jacroy67 will take over one of the hardest working and dedicated comms teams around. It was a great ride. Thanks to all who helped me along the way.
