I grieve @FedEx founder Mr. Fred Smith’s death. I have had the blessed privilege of knowing him, his lovely wife, his children, & grandkids for 20 yrs. I have always looked up to him & have tried to please him as if he was my own father. A giant of a man & a true American hero.

Just evaluated a teenage #athlete w/ a positive #genetic test for #HCM but a normal echo. He has been disqualified for nearly one year and told by #pediatric #cardiologist - “become a couch potato, no gym class, walk slowly to catch the bus!” This has to STOP.

Sounds like a great talk from @mmartinezheart. Would have enjoyed being with you all at #ESCPrev2025. But, after a great ##EHRA25 meeting in #Vienna, thank you @EHRAPresident, it is time to head home. There is just no place like home or like @MayoClinic 🤗.
