Happy Monday, Twitter. Here at MINDDRIVE we are keeping the energy high this week as we work on 12 electric race cars, 2 electric resto mod conversions, 10 Battlebots, 24+ welded sculptures, training 3 eSports teams, and 44 drone pilots.

Sparks of Art is our year-end event that showcases all of the sculptures our students create during Welding Art Studio on Monday nights. When it comes at the end of the year, our students will be ready. There's limited space and we will have some tough choices to make.

Chiefs @tkelce has partnered with @OB_Inc_KC to help 40 high school students learn mechanics. They're converting a '69 Chevelle into a Tesla Model S under the frame. Watch @kmbc to see how this is the first of its kind and how it's building real-world skills.

Drone Racing returns to @OB_Inc_KC Thursday night Students from around 10 area schools will participate including members of the @LafayetteKC @KIPPEndeavor and @CrossroadsCSKC drone racing teams. Racing starts at 5:30 with finals starting around 7pm.

Huge thanks to Academie Lafayette for hosting our first drone race of the year tonight. This is the first of 5 the students will compete in this season. Students from 10 schools will participate including Academie Lafayette, @KIPPEndeavor and Crossroads Prep Academy.

We partnered with @KIPPEndeavor this fall to provide real world learning opportunities for students in Engineering. They're learning to weld, design, and build their own electric race car for competition in @ElectrathonA You can see their progress Sat at Art Garage 11am-1pm.
