Apparently it is #MyTwitterAnniversary. There is much to despise this platform. That said, my introduction was through star educators @BCDS_History_56 and @chrisemdin, who modeled intentional, curated feeds with a transformative professional development lens. So grateful.

Superb work from @XpatEducator - he’s on fire at the moment. A one-pager helps you to reflect on your practice; a platform for a discussion, a prompt to check your knowledge and understanding. Nicely done Jamie. 👏🏼👏🏼

“No bell” schools, we want to hear from you! What are some of the effective alternatives to having a bell system for signaling passing periods? We might use your response in an upcoming podcast episode.

I am an idiot for not getting a library card sooner. I just...press a button...and the audiobook is on my phone...for free. LIBRARIES ARE AMAZING.

Here are 50 books Texas parents want banned from school libraries — and this headline, by the way, should be rewritten to make clear exactly *which* parents are initiating these bans.

This beautiful sculpture was built by the Irish people in their own country to honor the American Choctaw Indian tribe. They were grateful because in 1847 the Choctaw people sent money to Ireland when they learned that Irish people were starving due to the potato famine.

This is a really good interactive visualization to learn why the census matters, how parties use gerrymandering to gain power, and what redistricting could mean for your home state. Terrific for a classroom lesson, via @NYTimes. #sschat #edchat
