The passing of O.J. Simpson reminds me that I wrote in my memoir, "COMING FULL CIRCLE: From Jim Crow to Journalism" about how we were personally impacted in the USA Today newsroom upon hearing the not-guilty verdicts. Our reactions in the newsroom possibly reflected the nation.
