During his opening remarks, the @tennis_rwanda President, KARENZI Theoneste, welcomed the coaches and facilitators and encouraged them; “Be timely, be diligent, and take every note. Most importantly, pass on this knowledge to the athletes you coach.” – Noted the RTF president.

The course will be led by three ITF experts: Freeman Nyamunokora from Zimbabwe, George Oyoo from Kenya, and Rwanda’s own Thierry Ntwali. Their wealth of international experience will greatly enrich the program delivered here in Kigali.

From 6 to 17 September 2025, coaches will undergo training at Eastern Hills Hotel and Kicukiro Ecology Tennis Club. The course integrates classroom sessions with on-court practice, ensuring a comprehensive approach that strengthens both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

With the support of Olympic Solidarity, the Rwanda National Olympic and Sports Committee, in partnership with the @tennis_rwanda and @ITFTennis, is organizing the ITF Regional Coaching Advanced Players (CAP) Course, with the aim of strengthening the capacity of tennis coaches.
