today i ran an experiment that exposed what i believe to be one of the biggest threats to America right now i attempted to buy a small manufacturing company from a retiring owner the owner told me at one point they used to have way more employees and did way more sales than

one time I was bidding on a big to us ($XXM) dod contract bought a huge used machine to support our performance on it then had to 2x the electric supply coming into the shop + new transformers & panel didn’t win contract scrapped machine lesson, gamble less more small wins

At 24, I sold my first company for $5,000 (pic) This was special to me because it marked a significant transition in my life. Progress can be moving on from good things, even when they are going well. Leaving good things behind for better was a new mindset for me.

my small manufacturing company won our second prime DoD contract 4 years ago our small team (3.5people) showed up we ran 22hrs a day, 7days a week for 3 weeks filled up a gaylord of chips daily we are about as small as it gets so I know other SMB MFG’s can do this
