i run a small manufacturing company w/4 ppl over the past 7 years we’ve welcomed 4 babies to our families and have paid 4 months of paternity leave (full salary) most of us are 25-35 now also had 2ppl buy houses and a 3rd ready to hard industry still here this is the way

alright I've gotten to the point of posting a direct screenshot from an american mill that is 1000% illegal practice and has huge negative effects on american manufacturing "that may compete against them" oh so you know metal suppliers have an oligopoly making aluminum way

one time I was bidding on a big to us ($XXM) dod contract bought a huge used machine to support our performance on it then had to 2x the electric supply coming into the shop + new transformers & panel didn’t win contract scrapped machine lesson, gamble less more small wins

At 24, I sold my first company for $5,000 (pic) This was special to me because it marked a significant transition in my life. Progress can be moving on from good things, even when they are going well. Leaving good things behind for better was a new mindset for me.

my small manufacturing company won our second prime DoD contract 4 years ago our small team (3.5people) showed up we ran 22hrs a day, 7days a week for 3 weeks filled up a gaylord of chips daily we are about as small as it gets so I know other SMB MFG’s can do this

Guys, the bank’s debt service coverage ratio isn’t some riddle you’re gonna outsmart. Stop trying to thread the needle. Stop trying to make thin deals pencil. Walk away from anything that doesn’t give you real margin for error.
