Happy Hobbit Day! This quote from Return of the King is one of my favorite moments with my favorite hobbit. It’s a beautiful reminder that applies to the real world as much as Middle Earth. If you enjoy Lord of the Rings, who’s your favorite hobbit?

Looking back at a journal entry that I wrote when I was 10 years old. I think 10-year-old me would be very happy to see where I ended up. 💕 (I don't, however, believe "Suiwyo and her friend" made it very far past the first chapter. 😆)

Themes in The Lies I Carry: - Identity - Humanity - Family - Loyalty - Truth vs lies (I’m not always good at pinpointing the exact themes in my work, so there could be more!)

Me, imagining how soon I’ll be able to start telling people to buy this book.
I don't have an official release date yet bc I'm learning how long everything takes as I go, but since some of you have been kind enough to express interest The Babbler and the Balance Keeper will be coming out next year 🕯️⚖️💀🕊️

Share a snippet of something that has a hidden meaning your readers won't realize until much later 👀 So one of my favorite things to do is seed little ideas and moments that won't get their full significance until the next book or two. Here's one of them 🤐

Another look at my contemporary sci-fi project, The Lies I Carry (Lies Unraveled trilogy, book 1). Thank you, @once_darkness, for putting these together! They definitely capture the vibes of the novel: a mix of darkness and light, with a lot of heart throughout.

A quote from my fantasy novel, Beyond the Wind Music! Do you ever feel like nothing amazing could happen to you because your life is too...ordinary?

Share a snippet of someone in your story apologizing… Seth doesn’t genuinely apologize often. When he does, you can be pretty sure things have gone terribly wrong.💔
Share a snippet of someone in your story apologizing...I'll go first. Cain gives his version of one... A friend and I were talking about what an apology can say about a person's character. Do they take ownership of their faults? Or do they shift blame? A villain and a

It’s time to share more about my WIP and its characters! The Lies I Carry touches on a lot of themes/topics, but when it comes down to it, this story is about brothers. I love writing brothers. And sisters. Just siblings in general. But Seth and Jordy are currently favorites. 🥰

Jordy has already had his first kiss with the daughter of a fisherman who sells fish to the resort. (Seth has no idea, but I kind of want to write his reaction to finding out about it.)
What is something secretly canon in your stories? Something that never comes up in the story but as the author you 100% know is true. 🤔 -Admin N

I clench my fork. What if *he* gave Hannah the perfume? Based on the information I’ve gleaned from romantic stories, that’s a pretty personal gift. Of course, I usually avoid those stories, so the amount of information I’ve gleaned is small. - TLIC
It's time for Wednesday Words! Share a line or two that you worked on this week. Keep it PG-13 please. <3 - Admin R
