I figured out the issue. There is a slight delay now between typing, and the correct item showing up in Spotlight. So if you type then hit enter quickly, it will often open the wrong thing (since the right thing hasn't appeared yet). This is new in Tahoe. Not sure if it's poor

I absolutely hate macOS Tahoe. I use Spotlight to switch between apps, and it flat out just doesn't work about half the time now. Super frustrating. Might have to go back to something like Alfred. Any other more modern app switchers?
