On June 11, Abdulrahman al-Khalidi’s asylum case was heard in a final hearing before the Supreme Court. If rejected, he could be deported to Saudi Arabia, where he risks arrest, unfair trial, torture or cruel treatment, or even the death penalty. #SaveAlKhalidi

We are sad to learn that Saudi journalist Turki al-Jasser has been executed. He was sentenced for running an anonymous twitter account which exposed human rights abuses in the kingdom. Al-Jasser was held incommunicado until the day of his execution. ➜

Il y a 32 ans jour pour jour, la loi mauritanienne 93-23 a été adoptée. Elle amnistie les auteurs de crimes commis pendant le #PassifHumanitaire, dont l'exécution de 28 soldats afro-mauritaniens au camp d’Inal en 1990. Cette loi est toujours en vigueur et devrait être abrogée.
