Happy #InternationalMoonDay! Did you know that sometimes even Earth-observing satellites moongaze? 🌔 @USGS / @NASA_Landsat satellites use the Moon to help calibrate their instruments. And in May, Landsat 8 and 9 used similar maneuvers to watch the total lunar eclipse. 🧵
