Aaron judge was getting killed this past week for being too boring, not caring and not being loud enough of a leader. I won't even look in the comments but i'm guessing there is alot of "how could he say this? its an exhibition tournament he should care more about the yankees!"

It was around this time two years ago when Gil struck out eight Phillies and showcased a 100 mph fastball. That performance basically won him a job out of camp. Now, his fastball barely gets any swing and miss, which is less than ideal being a three-pitch pitcher.
His location has been pretty terrible today. Changeups and sliders up and middle of the zone.

PSA to whoever needs to hear it: --you can be disgusted at your country's politics/government but still support your country's national teams/athletes since they are your own --Showing lots of emotion or being more reserved while playing a sport are both ok and neither are bad

OMG this tired narrative will never stop will it? they won the game and are in the semis. Why are so many people caught up on this USA doesnt show enough emotion stuff? why is it so important for people to see them act a certain way?
Still rooting for Team USA but damn… these games have been boring as hell to watch. Save me the “this is the American way to play the game” speech. As a former big leaguer you hear all the time at nauseam… we play a kid’s game. Well damn… act like it. Have some fun.
