Between 1 April 2022 and 30 September 2022, food banks in the Trussell Trust’s UK-wide network distributed 1.3 million food parcels – this is an increase of 52% compared to the same period in 2019. Half a million of these parcels were distributed to children.

During the last year, Clare has swum the equivalent of 10 cross channel swims in pools across Europe!.

Clare Wilkinson at Hot Horse ( has taken on the monumental challenge to swim every day for a year in aid of the The Trussell Trust (, and is completing her final at the Saltdean Lido on Saturday 22nd July 2023.

Sarah Dennis, Group Executive PA at Temple, has just completed a swimming relay across the English Channel. The team swam through the night, battling seasickness and jellyfish (!) to make it to France after 12 hours and 40 minutes.
