The Monroe County Library System reached a record-breaking 1 million digital book checkouts in 2023 through our Digital Collection in Libby. The highest-circulating title MCLS readers borrowed in 2023 was Lessons in Chemistry: A Novel by Bonnie Garmus.

Over the past years, 20 staff from MCLS & OWWL have been participating in an Emerging Leaders program. Part of the program includes a capstone project. Today, 5 of the program participants presented their projects at Chili Public Library to colleagues across both library systems.
