As we wrap up 2023, MCID would like to share some stats of this year and all the amazing #IVLP projects we worked on. MCID is grateful for all the visitors we were able to work with as well as our colleagues at the Department of State, the CBMs, and all other partners.

Our Georgian visitors had a great time with hands-on volunteering experiences across the United States! Thank you to @StateIVLP and all of our CBM partners that made this project a success.

To end human trafficking, we must work together across borders. Recently, anti-trafficking experts from Central and South America met with their professional counterparts in Missouri and Montana to network and share best practices to combat human trafficking. #IVLP

MCID is proud to work with @StateIVLP in implementing this project. The Ukrainian cultural heritage experts on this project have helped us better understand the challenges and successes of creating and preserving art in their home country.
Through conversations with American arts professionals, Galyna, Co-founder and General Producer of Open Opera Ukraine, and other arts experts from Ukraine 🇺🇦 are deepening their understanding of the power of art and culture to inspire and embolden communities. #IVLP

In late spring of this year, MCID hosted seven visitors from across Africa for an #IVLP on combatting illegal fishing. The visitors traveled to DC, New Hampshire, Ohio, and Oregon to learn about countering illegal fishing and fisheries management.
