MCAS Cherry Point is in WSC R+, since Jan. 22. Recovery ops are in progress, but the installation remains open for mission-essential ops only. Leaders advise that personnel and residents limit movement until the status is determined all clear. Visit

MCAS Cherry Point is now in WSC I and will release non-essential personnel early at 1 p.m. Wednesday, the installation will be open to essential personnel only. Contact supervisor or chain of command for specific guidance and accountability.
