This was done without any due diligence or equalities impact assessment, with the result that many disabled residents (+ non disabled) have been adversely affected. Any attempt to frame this otherwise is simply rewriting the record 😡

My one criticism - presumably the editor’s input - is the misleading politicisation of this matter. The LED streetlighting programme was rolled out under a Conservative government, and in Barnet it was explicitly approved by Conservative councillors, lead by @CllrCornelius.
