I can’t believe I ever thought Ocean’s 12 was the weakest of the Clooney trilogy. In a series of movies that slap, 12 SLAPS.

Ketchikan has entered its annual Dark City phase. Hooray.

Just watched #TheLastWaltz, now watching #ZiggyStardustTheMotionPicture. Incredible how some amazing filmmakers in Scorsese and Pennebaker found such radically different ways to shoot two of the seminal shows of the 20th century.

As far as #rockdocs go, #TheLastWaltz is on such a higher level than anything else. Pennebaker’s films are terrific of course, and Scorsese made other great rock docs, but man. The talent involved in The Last Waltz, coupled with the direction, is just sublime at times.

Finally getting to watch Asteroid City, that’s what’s up.
