This #DMAW the focus is on the culture of dying, here is Our take on the topic, looking at religious aspects of people's final journeys and how this may come into play when discussing advanced care planning. @BDTeamLTHTr @LTHTR_Pallcare @LTHTRMortuary

Our staff have been collecting over the festive season for those who are less fortunate than themselves. Today, Liz, Lorraine, and Lilly kindly took donations to Living Waters food bank in Chorley. We hope this can be distributed to families and people who are struggling.

P A T I E N T πΉ R E C O G N I T I O N Wonderful to see our @MAU_CDH team receiving recognition from our patients! π We know this makes such a difference to our colleagues, helping them to feel valued when working in such challenging times π π« #LTHTRProud @LancsHospitals
Some lovely gifts and kind words from a patient's relative today. The ward had seen high pressures of late. But throughout these hard shifts, the staff continue to make a big impact on not only the patients but also their relatives who visit them. Keep up the good work, team ππ

Our lovely staff, Liz and Lorraine, are doing a food bank collection for Living Water. Any food/toiletries are welcome on the ward. However, no fresh foods, please. They are going to kindly drop it off Xmas week π€Ά π #livingwaterschorley #thinkingofthoseinneedatxmas
