Let’s try to remember this, please.
It’s been 63 years since suicide was decriminalised in the UK. But so many of us still use the term ‘commit suicide’. Why does it matter? Language that links suicide and crime can increase stigma and prevent people struggling with suicidal thoughts from speaking out. If we

This is very moving, irrespective of your politics.
Caring isn’t just my family's story, it is the story of millions, caring for each other, dealing with tough times, and keeping going with love. Sharing our story hasn't been easy, but it's important. It's time to bring carers' experiences into the light.

What a pleasure to interview @DrRosena today. Such an inspiring and passionate advocate for mental health and wellbeing.
Brilliant to be a keynote speaker at the @watercoolerevnt in the ExCeL London today, for a discussion on mental health in Government and the NHS. Rather than railing against a "sick note" culture, we must be encouraging more openness and understanding around mental health.
