The timing of this overnight trade could not have been better to illustrate my point in my previous post. After taking a $4000 payout on all five accounts, each account had a remaining balance of $400. At that point, I had two options: 1) trade them with minimal risk, or 2)

The model doesn’t matter. The trigger doesn’t matter. Entry, exit, direction matter far less than risk. The only thing that matters is how you set your RISK. Are you optimizing for payouts or for executing a strategy? Do you want to be right or make money? Food for thought ...

Trading prop firms is significantly easier than trading your own capital. I rarely post my thoughts on here, but I want to share my thoughts on something... Bank R:R vs Trade R:R. I have pulled a net +$60,000 over the past 6 months from various prop-firms in the futures space.

Not much posting lately, but some solid progress nonetheless. The red first day of the month really bugs me, especially since it's so proportionally big, but then again I wasn't expecting such a green month otherwise, can't complain. Wishing everyone a prosperous New Year 2026.

As the week & year come to a close, a few more payouts came through for a total of +$7,961.43. However, for the sake of transparency, I also spent -$2,079 this week on new evaluations, separate from these accounts. Solid progress in 2025, but aiming much higher next year. 👍

Another payout ... slightly smaller this time. The past 90 days, my hitrate has been ~61.6% and RR ~1.37. As a rule of thumb I only take 1 trade a day with max ~ 5-10% risk ... You do not need a large edge to succeed as a prop-trader and you do not need to always be right! ✍️

Officially green for September in terms of unrealized now too... took me half the month to achieve Caught a quick short soon after the open and booked 40p on MNQ for +$6.4K gross In theory, I could leave it at that for the rest of the month and be content… think about that 🔑

$11,100 payout requested this time. I don't really have anything cool or motivational to put here... just staying consistent and trading slow, process > outcome

Walked $NQ like a dog today 🐶 For transparency, these are my FIRST wins this month. I've had TWO losses, I am BREAKEVEN for the month in terms of unrealized profit so far (up realized) 9 potential trading days, 4 executions total in September. Can't lose when you don't play...

Another case of me trading “incorrectly" I made "only" (gross) $640 each on these 5×50K core accounts in 5 days before already cashing out I don't need to squeeze more, I know I run it back quickly. All profits are unrealized until they hit your bank account Revenue: +$2159.45

Generally on fresh new passed accounts, I hit them with very hard size. At that point the drawdown you have for an account are not real profits. I was actually risking the evaluation cost of $1500 (5 accounts) for $22500 in reward. I would never do this with accumulated profits.

I got a DM earlier questioning my authenticity, which is fair. There are many who don’t actually know how to trade and instead take the cheap route of faking results and selling snake-oil. I’m a private person but I know how to trade, and I sell nothing. August has been great.
