Major paper I've been working on is out today! We found genetics has a strong influence on skeletal response to immobilization. This is the first evidence showing changes in bone volume, quality and gene expression from immobilization are heritable.

Our latest paper examining how genetics affects the response to hindlimb unloading is out now in @JOrthopRes! We found bone loss from hindlimb unloading varied by mouse strain in the founder strains of the Diversity Outbred mouse population.
