I can’t mask 24/7 as it rips my face up after about 24 hours and I just can’t live like that. Is their probably partial at best masking, open windows. HEPA filters everywhere, and UVC FAR lights as much as we can afford enough?.

Covid comp friends, can you help me brainstorm? Gf’s kids who are in online school will start college in 3 years and will probably have to live with us. I’m immunocompromised. We can ask them to mask but I don’t know they have the emotional strength to do it to protect my life.

No longer flying to escape heat. Instead my partner and I spent our life savings on an Airbnb for the month of August in a cold climate that allows kids and cats. After I spent most of my savings on the Airbnb for myself this month. Thank all for the viral protection advice 💜.

Is there a place in the Bay Area where I can get Novavax in the next 3 weeks?.

Last year I had to beg my doctor for home treatment to stay out of the hospital. This year my reaction to the heat so far is even worse. All of this in air conditioning that is literally cold. I am just that sensitive.

While my insurance denied my doctor’s request for the stronger medication. The flip side is I risk being hospitalized if I stay, a maybe greater viral risk.

In just the last month of mild heat I went from no symptoms to blurry eyesight,vertigo, cognitive difficulties, and no longer able to drive. (It’s my chronic illness doing this to me in the heat.).

Which should I do? Stay home in August in a location where the heat is actively disabling me and making it questionable whether I can keep my remote job. Or take viral illness risk of a 2 hour flight in very central busy airports to go dog sit in a cool climate?.

Dear Covid competent Twitter friends, may I ask how one can fly safely as an immunocompromised person who has been _mostly_ sheltering in place since March 2020? I may have a 2 week reprieve from the heat that is triggering my flare in August but it means flying….

I have to leave my amazing girlfriend and our three cats for this because I can’t afford a place that accepts pets. My gf gets so sad and my cat is sick and I can’t leave either. But I might lose my incredible remote job if my health keeps deteriorating.
