why did they change my schedule and give me friday off?? i picked my days off because those are the only days i actually have anything to do, now i just have to sit and rawdog the whole fucking day doing nothing at all genuinely would rather be working right now

at one of the weakest moments in my life, after falling out with my family and losing my job, i almost joined the army. then the gazan genocide started, and i realized that i wasnt suffering nearly as badly as the people whos land id be helping invade.
Obvs nuances. American soldiers were very much complicit in atrocities in Vietnam. And there's still military grooming that occurs, drawing young people with lofty promises and pretty words. But even so, these are not soldiers sent against their will. They are very much willing.

i love having food aversion so strong that i will literally starve instead of eating fried rice cause its got egg in it. i love having people make me a serving of some slop I'll never eat and then feeling bad cause they didnt ask me if id eat it before they made it

its been like, years since ive had to sit and cope with the fact that what i can and cannot eat is incongruent with what the household as a whole have decided to make. i had kinda hoped never to feel like this again.
