With LHWRF’s support, Devidas adopted organic and sustainable farming practices. He now prepares natural inputs, strengthens his soil and reduces chemical dependency. This shift not only lowers costs but also protects the environment, showing how support can transform a farming.

On his 4-acre farm, Devidas introduced what he calls the “Pensioner’s Crop” fruit trees like custard apple, Ramphal and mango that demand little care once grown but provide income and security for decades. For Devidas, this was more than farming.
