Least favorite change to happen to this site was them jacking up the API price. Nowadays I don’t see people posting random little clips from their games nearly as much as they used to. Miss that.

People’s expectations for games are rock bottom. “Hype” for a game now usually boils down to “I hope this doesn’t get delayed again/cancelled” and “hope it’s not completely broken and unfinished at launch” because video games have absolutely got worse.
Video Games did not get worse. Our expectations just got larger.

@Liv_Boeree I was on an overnight, sitting in the isle seat next to a young couple who were clearly flying for the first time. At 5:30 AM I was rudely awakened by piercing sunlight on my face. I asked them to close the shade but the boyfriend smiled and said: "She wants to see the sunrise!".
