In sum, this is by far the worst nightmare that has happened to me over 5+years in the crypto space. Note that the scammer never asked me to download anything. I did that myself out of my curiosity which made it even more painful. I had to deal with a lot of self sabotaging

The investigation officer told me that this is NOT a strong evidence. It could be that the cex account owner was being paid by the scammer. It would need further investigation. I sure hope that someone with more experience like @zachxbt could help finding more evidences

I used @MistTrack_io to follow the transaction traces and reported a transaction that could lead to identify the thief’s identity.
