So much FOMO about missing #JSM2019 for only the 2nd time in the past decade!! Overwhelmed by the number of parallel sessions? Jacob Bien put together a website that creates a custom schedule based on your citation network: https://t.co/zGpKpZIIK2

I'd like to make a shout-out to the people who run the CRAN (central R repository)--- especially Kurt Hornik, Uwe Ligges and Brian Ripley. They are doing a tremendous service for the scientific community, enforcing and maintaining the quality standards for R packages.

Thanks to their (volunteer!) work, the more than 2 million R users worldwide can seamlessly access the CRAN collection of over 10,000 R packages. Thank you for your invaluable work.

I’ve been working on a style guide for #rstats error messages at https://t.co/BENuYtGtrL — we’ll be using this for new messages and slowly updating existing across the tidyverse. Hopefully also useful for your own code!
