One month ago today, a murderous terrorist mob sacked the Capitol at the behest of the previous president & his Congressional allies. To date, not a SINGLE politician who encouraged violence against their colleagues and a coup against 🇺🇸 has faced any serious consequences.
The insurrection leaders in the U.S. Senate, from Texas & Missouri wear their role in the coup attempt as a badge of honor. The House Minority Leader literally has to balance the views of the terrorist sympathizers against the “normals” in his conference.
It seems the Senate Minority Leader is fine with no punishments in the name of “process.” Calls for unity remain hallow as one party complains that they can’t bring guns on the House floor & literally instills fear in their colleagues targeted by the terrorists.
Sadly the fallout from January 6th is like the 2008 Wall St crash. Nobody responsible at the top will see a jail cell or even lose their job. There have been no consequences for sedition against the 🇺🇸. It’s painful, it’s shameful and it’s pathetic.
Lest we forget those that died for this treason. The attempts on the life of the VP & Speaker of the House. The countless members, staffers and journalists still traumatized by nearly being killed. Lest we forget who incited the mob.

The next US Attorney General has not yet been sworn in. I believe that is why there have been fewer briefings and the appearance of inactivity. I believe once Garland is sworn in, much more will come out.

True, one of the biggest mysteries to me as why this only is a senate/political
#Trump
as punishment for him??? This should be an FBI criminal case...I get they’re not going to talk about it until the case is airtight BUT I don’t get why it’s not being talked about in the Media?

It was an attempted coup which very nearly succeeded. They all knew what they were doing but only the little fish have been arrested.

Just a slap on the hand and when they killed the officer with a fire extinguisher you would think harsher punishments should happen. He was a young man with a whole life ahead of him but was doing his job and now is no longer with his family. Sad, very sad

I miss your dad and his insight so much. His voice was the voice we needed the last 4 years. Love to you and your family.

And they won’t, brother. Members of Congress circle the wagons when things could potentially happen to any of their members. They talk big and speak of outrage, but nothing really happens
