Happy World Book Day (Week)! We celebrated with an author visit from Clare Rees and the popular House Reading Quiz. Year 9s were inspired by Clare to create their own fictional monsters, with spine-tingling results. The quiz was a joy to host as always. Happy reading.

We were so lucky to have author Alexandra Sheppard visit us today. Alexandra delivered some amazing writing workshops using the Greek myths as inspiration, for years 7 & 8. She also had lunch with some of our keen writers from other years. Thank you for a fabulous day Alexandra.

It's Anti-Bullying Week and we have many resources to help tackle this theme. Our Library is also a place of kindness and this week pupils can write clouds of kindness to each other, to parents, and to tutors. β˜οΈπŸ™‚
