Speaking last night on the importance of reopening the Gordon Hospital’s 51 Acute Mental Health Beds. Reopening these beds shouldn’t come at the cost of other community mental health services. As one size will never fit all with mental health.

Team Holland back on the cricket field for one of our favourite events of the year - the @RBKC Summer Activity Day! From climbing walls and Tai Chi to face painting, cricket and more, there was something for everyone. A huge thanks to all who made it happen 🏏☀️

I spoke at Full Council last night about the Olympia development and the very real concerns residents in Holland Ward have about parking pressures. These decisions affect daily life and they need to work for the people who live here, not just those passing through. @AarienAreti

After nearly two years of scrutiny, challenge and hard work, we’ve secured 10 crisis and step-down beds to be reopened in Westminster, following the Gordon Hospital’s closure. It’s not all we fought for, but more than we thought we’d get—and a step forward. Last night was our

This isn’t the end of the road—but it’s a meaningful step forward. After much hard work, 10 beds (5 crisis, 5 step-down) will reopen at the Gordon Hospital (closed since the pandemic) and the MHCAS will stay at St Charles in RBKC. Right up until the last moment, we thought there

Deeply moving to be at @StMarysTrust Ukrainian School this morning for their concert ahead of the 3rd anniversary of the invasion. The children sang about their love for their country, their people and those they have lost—holding onto hope and the fight for freedom. Despite the

Today, our local NHS @HealthierNWL launched a consultation on palliative care. Since the closure Pembridge inpatient beds and the move to a community based model, I encourage all to respond to this. It's imperative we have the right services in @RBKC

Proud to have taken one of these beautiful buildings on and brought it back to life. If we don’t invest in and protect our historic sites we’re destined to lose them. Also, some shameless self-promotion: Café Pier is open Thursday - Sunday 9-4! By Albert Bridge! 🥐🥯☕️
As it's announced the final unlisted cabmen's shelter in London has now been awarded Grade II status, we've gone back into the archives to find out more about London's secret 'green sheds'. https://t.co/pKVqWi2BdU

A great contribution by @benwesson at our recent NWL Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny Meeting, on the introduction of GP same day hubs across NW London 👏🏼
Holding @HealthierNWL to account over its proposed introduction of same day hubs across North West London ( https://t.co/5eVs5NKN6w) 👇 14k people signed @SOSfamilydoctor’s petition against the plans. Pleased they have been paused. 🧑⚕️👩⚕️

On Thursday the NWL JOSCH will be meeting with leaders of the NHS and ICB to discuss their recent pause on the introduction of ‘Same day access hubs’. We are very much looking forward to hearing what comes next? And how they plan to engage, consult and co-produce this offer
Good news that NHS NW London ICB has PAUSED the introduction of ‘same day access hubs’. But what are hubs? Will they end GP/patient relationship as we know; or will they improve health outcomes? Join me as #NWLondonJHOSC reviews NHS plan. 🗓️ 14 March ⏰ 10am 📍Brent Civic Centre

Very welcome news! Thanks to everyone who expressed concern and worry. Thanks also to @FelicityBuchan who helped with this campaign after we both met the CEO of the ICB last week to ask them to seriously reconsider these proposals. https://t.co/oo2sNmLfL2

Same-day access hubs will not be mandated in North West London as the ICB bows to pressure from GPs and patients.

Breaking: ICB backs down on same-day access plans due to GP and patient backlash. So happy to hear ICS leaders have listened to the voices of patients and GPs and pressed pause on these changes. They have committed to allowing more time to work with PCNs, GPs and patients to
