Three former Memphis police officers have been found guilty of various charges in the Tyre Nichols trial. Only Demetrius Haley was guilty of civil rights violations, but a lesser charge that said the force didn’t result in Nichols’ death.

There are three types of 287(g) programs with ICE: One for active immigration enforcement, one for immigration warrant enforcement and one for jail enforcement. The program essentially extends partial immigration enforcement authority to non-ICE agents.
The Shelby County Sheriff's Office has signed a 287(g) agreement with ICE, Sheriff Bonner confirmed to me. He said the agreement is not for enforcement, however, but only applies to immigrants currently in 201 Poplar. More here:
