My BLACK patient, didn’t want me, a BLACK student, to draw blood from him today because I “look like I’m supposed to be a cleaner”. I’m not even shocked or hacked at this point. I took my gloves off and left him there.
Start relationships. End them. Start new ones. You’re young. Use this time to learn instead of trying to get married to everyone you find yourself with. 🤷🏿♂️
To all the new interns: try not to be too shy at work next year. No one can help you if you’re quiet. Also don’t be afraid to get stuff wrong. That’s the whole point. To learn and improve as you go.
And always ask ask ASK. Until you feel annoying😂
Good luck. You’ve got this✨
23 years ago, on this day, 18/10/1996, I was born.
I’ve come a long way hey. From the awkward kid who was teased in school, to the me I am now:
Comfortable being myself
Doing things I enjoy
&
Building the life I want
Happy birthday to me 🧘🏾♂️✨🥺🎈
Compliment your dark skinned children as they grow up so that they can have an innate sense of confidence. Tell them that their skin is beautiful. And remind them frequently. ‘Cause they might not get that once they go out into the world.

I came out to my mom and family this week. Most difficult thing I’ve ever had to do but I was tired of living dishonestly. Took this step for my own sanity and mental health because I’ve been struggling very recently. I’m getting help and I’m seeing someone. I’ll be back soon ♥️
If you didn’t graduate with your friends, don’t worry about it. Nawe your turn will come and things will align. But for now trust that God has the best plan for you ✨✨
