I'm in federal court for the sentencing of Abdiaziz Farah. He was the ringleader of the first Feeding our Future group to stand trial and also planned the attempted bribe of a juror. He will no doubt get the longest prison sentence so far of the fraudsters. Feds asking for 30+.

That sentence is just for the fraud. He could get additional time tacked on for the attempted bribe when he is sentenced for that at a later date.

Judge Nancy Brasel sentenced Abdiaziz Farah to 28 years in prison.

Senator Mitchell found guilty in burglary trial. Now she could face 180 days in jail.

Muxfeldt also provided testimony to counter Mitchell's claim she was chekcing on Carol. Q: “Fast forwarding to mid-April 2024, again, just to be clear, Nicole, did Nicole Mitchell ever contact you or inform you that she was coming to check on Carol Mitchell?”. A: “No.”.

Carol Mitchell's niece Pamela Muxfeldt, who also serves as Carol's power of attorney, testified about Carol's preceeding concerns about Nicole Mitchell. The defense has prepped the jury for this type of testimony by talking about Carol's paranoia from Alzheimer's.

On the defense side, never good when police miss evidence and other people find it later. No prints or DNA collected or swabbed on pry bar or window sill.

New evidence this morning suggests Mitchell misled police about which basement window she entered (to avoid them finding the crowbar?) The window she claimed was too small for a human to fit through. Carol's friend found crowbar in other window well. Pry marks on that window sill

And a wildcard in all of it is how the jury considers the property/mementos belonging to the late Rod Mitchell. If Nicole's intent was to take those, would that constitute theft? That will be one of the first questions the jury will have to discuss in deliberations.
