Thank you for the supportive comments following the sudden death of my Dad last night. He was only 58. I’m just gutted & sad I’ll never see him or talk to him again. He was a great Dad & lovely person. He will be missed by many 💜 Love you forever Dad.

For those of you that know Balbanes from the DayZ community, I'm afraid I have some awful news. I've been in contact with his wife and I'm sorry to say that he passed away suddenly last month. I'm gutted. He was a lovely person, and a good friend. She wanted me to pass this on.

My lovely Dad wasn’t just my Dad, he was a lovely Grandad to my son too, his only grandchild. William has lost his first grandparent and it breaks my heart. I wish we could have him back, it’s the most hurt and loss I’ve ever felt in my life 💔

I met 2 guys tonight that were brand new to DayZ, 1 guy only had 5 hours. I taught them how to fish & cook. They called me a DayZ Sensei. It was the start of a possible great adventure. Then 10 minutes later we all got killed 😭

Saw Tenacious D tonight in Birmingham, my first gig. Loved it. Was worried I wouldn’t enjoy going after losing my Dad recently, almost cancelled, but it was something I needed at the moment. Made me smile. They’re amazing at what they do 💜 Wish I could watch it all over again!

Next year may be the 1st time in 10 years of playing that I will host my first PVP event. Will be a SOLO event, 3-4 hours long, with a zone part way through to force PVP. 1 life, no teaming up, no chat, no meta, just PVP. 2 winners, 1 for last person standing & 1 for most kills.

was a good change of scene and pace tonight. I enjoyed wandering around a new landscape. There are some great looking areas of the map and we didn't even explore all of it yet. Will definitely revisit soon.

Been eating clean & healthy since the start of June & weighed myself at the docs today (was there for something unrelated & no scales at home) & I'm 20lbs ish less than my recorded heaviest weight! So happy with myself, it's a great start & I'm already feeling so much better 😊

Facing the reality of never seeing my Dad again is heartbreaking. I think about the fact that I'll never see him as an "old man" or I worry as time goes on that I won't remember him very well. I'm so sad that he's gone, but you just have to carry on, it's so hard. It's not fair.

Found a heli tonight, it got late so I decided to fly to a spawn town to give it away. Found 3 people, landed and gave it to them. They all get in, try to take off and end up upside down in a big fireball 😂 I just wanted to do something nice! 😭

Waiting in A&E for results of bloods & an ECG as I’ve been having chest pains since Friday. I know it’s probably the heartbreak & emotional stress from losing my Dad but I keep worrying about it as I haven’t felt this before so wanted to get it checked. Hopefully all is okay.
