This stinks. When we moved into Petworth in 2010, there just weren't a lot of places to sit and eat around here. Domku on Upshur, Looking Glass on GA. Another one of the OGs closing their doors.

Looking Glass was my neighborhood bar for 11 years, and always a place where you can bring your friends or strike up conversations. Even now, it's still my go-to for drinks and food. I'm incensed that, yet again, a successful local pillar is at the mercy of picky leasing.

When we opened @DCReynoldsBar on Georgia Ave it took 4 whole minutes before Jeff, V, and Soren came over to wish us good luck. We probably passed a $20 bill back and forth a hundred times the first month we were in business. DC is worse off without @LookingGlassLng in it.
