Great win for a depleted Hull. Would have been easy to feel for sorry for themselves. As for Leeds, I was a bit surprised they had so much title contender hype going into the season. They'll be top 6. Perhaps top 4. But is it a title-winning squad? Falls short imo.

Asiata isn't just the best 13 in SL. He's closer to the best player in SL than the second best 13 is to him. He's that good.
Had a debate about top 5 13s in the competition the other day with a buddy of mine, Asiata didn’t make the top 5. No particular order but Minichella, Ben Currie, Liu, Partington, Ellis all ahead of him for me, he’s in the conversation with Klemmer and Palasia for the 6/7/8 spot

There's surely some kind of contract obligation for second choice keepers playing domestic cup games because it's really odd. Expected City to win today but didn't think we would be this toothless.

Got a feeling City win this one unfortunately. We're a better side and will probably finish above them, but for a one off game they've got more strike weapons, most of the pressure is on us, and Eze & Timber are both pretty big losses.

Makes sense. Tray needs to be playing a better level than reserves so he's prepared for when he's called upon. Hope the lad doesn't get disheartened. We have a pretty decent pack that isn't easy to break into and injuries happen in the forwards so he will get his chance.

Timber is a very good defender. He's limited in attack though, and the amount of ball he's set up to receive in the opposition box is baffling.
