Mike Kafka looks like he rolled up to the game in a lowered civic with one door a different color. Half a dozen black ice air fresheners on the rearview but the car still stinks like weed and some sort of fruity vape and his Instagram handle on a sticker across the back window.

I got talked into a 5k this morn by my fam while drinking on a boat yesterday. I bailed on it this morn and I’m sure I’ll take some heat but it’s really on them. They should know that if I was drunk enough to say yes I was definitely going to be way too hungover to actually do it

I was supposed to ref a game tonight. Got cancelled due to tornado warnings. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Kids are getting soft these days. ❄️

Yes it was a modified game. By fans going crazy I mean one dad said, “whoa!” and another said, “holy shit did you see that?” Was still pretty sweet though.

Was reffing a game this afternoon. Goal is scored. I’m about 15 yards up from goalie. He tosses me the ball. It’s behind me. I no look catch it behind my back. Jog up to the faceoff dot like nbd. Fans went nuts.

Refs have a tough job! Despite this feeling like a goal in real time, it looks like they got this right and all Captains will accept that. There’s no game without our officials and we appreciate you even when it hurts! Great game 🤝
