The Youth Band are excited to present their end of term concert at St. Lawrence's Church in Longridge next Sunday. Free entry!

The band had a great day yesterday at the NW Regional Brass Bands Championships. We really enjoyed performing Philip Wilby's Red Priest in the Championship section. The adjudicators praised all of our fine soloists, and we were placed 7th out of a strong field of 12 bands.

Tonight we performed as part of the service at the Menin Gate Memorial in Ypres. A very moving experience. We Will Remember Them.

Congrats to all who competed at the weekend’s @BolsoverFest, particularly winning bands @LongridgeBand, @StanningtonBand, @Bd1Brass, @WhitworthBrass & Syston Band. AoBBA members Alan Morrison, Roger Webster, David Hirst & Nicholas Garman adjudicated across the five sections. 👏🏻

Tonight we will be paying our respects and marking the passing of the Queen. The band will play a hymn tune followed by the National Anthem. This will be at the War Memorial on Berry Lane at 8:30PM.

In these unusual times we are really missing all of our friends, patrons and supporters. To celebrate VE Day, we wanted to share our Remembrance/ Street Party concert from 2018.

Due to a statement issued by Brass Bands England, of which the band are a member of, we have unfortunately cancelled both our concerts this weekend.

We finished 5th and were the highest placed First Section band at the Brass in the Wire contest today in Warrington. 🏆
