it wasn’t even just the main day and night stages that suffered bad performance, the Empire City hub absolutely chugged despite being a simple circle with npcs dotted here and there. It’s one of the worst optimized games I’ve ever seen on 360.

imo the movement in this game isn’t anything spectacular. Once you understand how everything works it’s not very hard to start imitating popular speedrun strats, and even those aren’t super viable in anything outside of time trial
