Our final feature is the Cockroach, from the insect order Blattaria or Blattodea. They have flat bodies and move really fast. But did you know they play an important role in nature by helping to break down dead plants and animals? They're like nature's recyclers!

Golden Orb Spiders are found in warm places like rainforests. They're not harmful to humans, and their silk is so tough that some people even use it for clothes. Photo Credit: Jeremy McNeil, Western University, Canada

Today’s feature is the Golden Orb Spider Like other spiders, these β€˜bugs’ are Arachnids! They're known for their shiny, golden silk webs that glow in the sun. These webs are super strong and capture insects for the spider to eat.

Our feature today is the Mesostigmatid Mite! Mesostigs are predatory arachnids. They possess protrusive mouth parts which enable them to feed on other bugs such as oribatid mites and collembolans. Some mesostigs are parasites of vertebrates and other bugs.
