With the objective of Opium Free Lohit, the district Police in co-ordination with the district Administration,CBOs,GBs and other stakeholders have started spreading awareness in villages during the sowing season of poppy in the district in order to check its illegal cultivation.

Hon'ble CM Shri Pema Khandu today virtually inaugurated through VC the maiden flight of Flybig Airlines with passengers from Tezu to Guwahati. The programme was also attend at Tezu airport by Hon'ble MP Shri Tapir Gao and Hon'ble Minister Civil Aviation Shri Nakap Nalo.

A VC chaired by @DgpPradesh sir was conducted today. A thorough review of pending investigation cases, pending DEs, CCTNS, UG activities and NDPS cases was done. All district SsP were directed to take care & extend all possible help to the Covid-19+ve police personnel.
