And before anyone comes at me with the “the ingredients are flammable and toxic!” argument, I would ask you to do some research and also provide the toxic dose of those compounds in the human body when applied topically and then the concentration found in the nail polish.

The ritual isn’t the magic, the ritual is usually the safety precautions for the magic. I’ve seen too many groups and individuals cast a circle only to treat it as the main event, do no magic, and then take the circle down. Like we called the gods here to witness what exactly?.

Excess is a problem in ceremonial magic, but I think sometimes people forget that each tool in a tradition is important in specific ways. Let’s not downplay a rich tradition of ritual because it’s too complex. Both the simple and complex are important!.

I agree with this, however, friendship does not mean we cannot constructively critique one another or hold each other to high standards.
If you are going to be an author, an artist, an influencer, or just a commentator in our small world of the occult, you cannot see others as your competition. They are your comrades, your peers. The moment you see others in this field as competitors, you've already begun to fail.
